Thalya means "flourish" and "joyous" and represents how we want our customers to feel when they wear our clothe. In addition, the name is a reference to the Greek muse "Thalia" and symbolizes a source of inspiration. We want to inspire you to pursue your dreams by feeling strong and comfortable, thereby also inspiring others to follow their passion.
Heritage
We are a start-up based in Switzerland. We are shaped and inspired by Swiss nature, values and tradition. We stand for quality, sustainability and timeless design.
Founder
Thalya was founded by Nathalie in 2023. She is a business professional and has always been looking for business clothes that are comfortable, elegant and unique. She started to design her own styles with the goal to develop the most beautiful, functional and sustainable workwear.
Advisory Board
Sunnie J. Groeneveld
Sunnie J. Groeneveld is an entrepreneur, board member and author. She is the founder and managing partner of the consultancy Inspire 925 and a member of the board of directors of several medium-sized Swiss companies. At the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich, she is director of the Institute for Digital Business and head of the Executive MBA Digital Leadership program. She is also the author of the book "Inspired at Work" (Versus Verlag), has been named one of the "Top 100 Women in Business" several times and recognized by the Handelszeitung as one of the "Top 50 Who's Who in Digital Switzerland", as well as being named by Forbes business magazine on its "30 under 30" list for the German-speaking region. Sunnie J. Groeneveld holds a degree in Economics from Yale University. She was also awarded an honorary doctorate by the International Institute in Geneva.

We care about the environment. Our products are designed and made in Europe with sustainable fabric and short shipping routes. We commit to slow fashion and longevity, therefore, we choose only the highest quality materials and use a timeless design that is fashionable for years to come.
Fabrics
Merino Wool
We use a super fine 100% natural virgin merino wool made in Italy and Great Britain. Merino wool is breathable, crease-resistant, temperature-regulating, odor-repellent and durable. In addition, high-quality merino wool has a natural stretch that makes it elastic without adding artificial fibers.
Cupro
Our fine Cupro fabric comes from Italy. The fibers are made of cotton linters, a by-product of the cotton plant. Cupro is biodegradable and compostable. The fabric has a luxurious shine and feels silky smooth on the skin. It is breathable, controls moisture and temperature, is antistatic and durable.
